Bob launched CareerFactor on April 1, 2003 to provide quality IT personnel placement services for his personal network of information technology contacts. Utilizing a custom developed data warehouse driven Applicant Tracking System, CF Pro. His strategic objective was to beat his competition to market by being able to find, contact, recruit and present the best professional IT resources in the market faster and more efficently. Today's IT managers have exacting standards and expect quick turnaround, Bob has been able to utilize parsing techniques and the principals of Data Warehouse Business Intelligence reporting in combination with hub and spoke sourcing to deliver results where others fail. He remains personally committed to developing the technology required for optimizing IT placement.
Bob's sales and technical expertise along with his commitment to superior customer relationship management stem from over 20 years of success in corporate technology sales and a demonstrated track record in staffing industry. Bob is a 'big biller' who has achieved record performances in software services sales, consistently achieving top honors and numerous prestigious President's Club Awards at Automatic Data Processing earlier in his career. Bob developed his own automated contact management while at ADP and it enabled him to consistenty be ranked in the top ten of ADP's nationwide salesforce.
In 1995, Bob joined JFW Associates, LLC as a partner where he brought his aggressive sales and technology expertise to help grow this 'mom and pop', one man IT recruiting company from three clients to over 65 Fortune 500 accounts with personal 'cash-in' billing exceeding $4 million in permanent placements. He personally placed over 300 computer professionals in a wide range of industries including e-Commerce, Commercial Software, High Tech Start Ups, Financial, Banking, Healthcare, Insurance and Investment, Manufacturing, Gaming and Financial Transaction Processing.
Bob received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Boston College in 1984 and was the recipient of the Boston College Athletic Association’s John J. Quirk Coach’s award in 1983 for his role as Center on the Varsity Football Team. He currently lives in the beautiful shoreline community of Killingworth, CT, with his wife, Kathleen, and their two children.
